Kristin Candan, Ph.D.

Whether you are seeking therapy to better manage symptoms of anxiety or depression, strengthen your communication skills, problem solve relationship issues, learn stress management techniques, cope with challenging life transitions, or enhance performance in athletics, we can help. With a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and a practical and relatable style, we will work together to identify and take steps toward achieving your goals. Dr. Kristin Candan received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and her MBA in Health Service Management from Hofstra University. She is currently the Director of The Early Treatment Program at The Zucker Hillside Hospital and has provided clinical services and supervision at Northwell Health for over 16 years. Dr. Candan has extensive experience treating anxiety, mood and psychotic disorders. She specializes in sport psychology, emerging adulthood, and supporting caregivers and family members of individuals managing severe mental illness.
